Dharamakot Studio Residency

The beginning of 2024, I had the privilege of participating in an artist residency in India. I think that being away from the rigidity of university learning, I was able to explore and experiment with new techniques. I focused on hand building predominantly and worked alongside sculptural artist who’s practices were very inspiring. This experience profoundly shaped my practice and marked a pivotal point in my artistic development. It was here that I became captivated by the textures, shapes, and nuances of the natural world, which continue to inspire my work today.
