‘In Exchange’ is a study of accumulation, change, and relational form. Two wall works, positioned side by side, built through repeated touch, small shifts in pressure and movement that gradually alter surface and structure over time.

Each responds to the other. Compression and release, presence and absence. Clay is the record of this process, holding pressure, time, and handling in its surface. What remains is the trace of making, and the suggestion that neither form could exist without the other beside it.

‘Tafoni’ - the weathering of costal rock. It looks as though it should be alive, but also like something that has already lived its life. Its structure and foundation, like bone, or cellular structures, or the contours of a topographical map. Micro becomes macro, and back again. This form settles somewhere between a landscape and a body. Softened, hollowed, changed and then still again.
