‘Somewhere in the Middle’ a collaborative work by Alexis Mason and Renee Becker stages a negotiation between sharpness and softness, suspending two sculptural candle holders in deliberate tension where hard and soft coexist without compromise. Light becomes both subject and participant, grazing the ceramics’ sharp surfaces, glancing off the copper’s fluid lines, and weaving the two into a single composition that embodies duality not as conflict, but as balance.
